MAKARSKA SUMMER SCHOOL
Founded in 2005 with Julia Gubajdullina, the Makarska Summer School has quickly gained popularity and turned into an irresistible attraction for aspiring musicians in the region. The opportunity to combine the absorption of valuable musical knowledge along with the diversion and entertainment that comes with living in a famous seaside resort makes the summer school a coveted destination for students during the late summer. Over the years, more than 400 students from various countries have participated in the master course, most of whom have taken part on more than one occasion.
Many thanks to “Gradska glazba Makarska” and Music school of Makarska. We greatly appreciate their support and assistance in organisation of this event.
This year we celebrate our 20th anniversary!
We are happy to announce gala concerts of our dear alumni which will take place in Makarska 16.08.2024-18.08.2024.
The summer school has two terms.
The first term will take place 11.08.2024 – 17.08.2024.
The second term will take place 19.08.2024 – 25.08.2024 in the Music School of Makarska.
The deadline to submit applications is June 25, 2024. The confirmation of the acceptance will be sent not later than June 30. In case of being filled out the organiser keeps right to close submitting of applications before deadline.

Accommodation expenses must be covered by the participants. There will be 5 lessons. The duration of each lesson is 45 minutes. The schedule is flexible and can be adjusted according to participants’ needs. The participants will have a possibility to practice on pianos of the Music School. Public concerts will also be organized for the participants.

To apply for the scholarship you have to send:
